Portuguese seem to always walk looking to the ground, like they are ashamed by something in their condition. Might be the economic crisis striking Portugal or some historical trait (or even the necessity to avoid stepping on some dogs crap that Portuguese dog owners don't clean) but the truth is that in many photos you always see this looking down. Absent from what ever goes on in the surroundings.
